Melissa Edge began her legal career working as a paralegal at a downtown Austin law firm, where she gained valuable skills and experience building relationships with clients and operating a law office. After leaving her career as a paralegal, Melissa went on to earn her law degree at Baylor University where she concentrated her education in Estate Planning. The concentration involved a curriculum designed around an in-depth study of the areas of estate and probate law.  A Burnet County native, Melissa returned to Marble Falls where she formed the Law Office of Melissa Edge, PLLC. During that time, Melissa handled a variety of matters ranging from estate planning to business formation to real estate.

Since the inception of Fox Edge Kuykendall, PLLC in 2019, Melissa has primarily focused her practice in the areas of estate planning and probate. She handles simple wills, complex estates, and a variety of probate matters involving estates both with a will and without a will. Melissa appreciates the personal interaction this area of law provides, whether it’s meeting with a client to discuss their needs for an estate plan or helping a family navigate the probate process after the death of a loved one.

Melissa lives in Meadowlakes with her husband and three young boys and currently sits on the Board of Directors of CASA for the Highland Lakes Area.
